Why is the one-way bearing so important for length counting? What problems occur without it?
PP straps undergo micro-shrinkage after stretching and cooling, and there are minute vibrations during line operation. Without a one-way bearing, these factors could cause the measuring wheel to instantaneously and slightly reverse. These reversals would be erroneously recorded by the system as "negative length", causing the final cumulative length to be less than the actual length, resulting in loss for the seller. The one-way bearing is the most effective mechanical safeguard against such "length loss" phenomena.
How is the counting accuracy of ±0.1% achieved?
The ±0.1% accuracy reflects the combined system precision: 1) Mechanical Basis: High-precision machining of the measuring wheel circumference is accurate, and the NSK bearing eliminates reversal error; 2) Sensing Accuracy: High-resolution encoders or proximity switches accurately convert wheel revolutions into electrical pulses; 3) Calculation Processing: The PLC performs high-speed, accurate cumulative calculation of the pulses. Can the counting data be exported or connected to our company's ERP system?
The standard PLC control system is primarily for local display and control. If data export or connection to upper-level MES/ERP systems is required, it typically needs additional functional modules or communication interfaces (e.g., Ethernet, RS485) and the development of corresponding data acquisition programs. This is an optional extended functionality. The requirement can be raised during procurement, and we will evaluate and provide a solution and quotation.
